I know it's not a whole different conuntry, but it took time for me to feel at home and not to miss my family and friends so much. I actually moved back and forth three times until I felt at home. My advice is just to give it a chance! Even tho I moved back to LA (my boyfriend moved w/me), I did finally make a home in NY and will always feel like it's my second home in this world. I had to make new friends, and (hard as it was) try not to have my heart in LA, let it be in NY, you know? It is hard tho... but, your man must be pretty special to leave Mexico (my motherland too!), I know it must be impossible to get a decent torta, huh?
