DIY: MICHAEL KORS SS11 GOLD PANTS

Making these pants was on the top of my "To-Do" list ever since I saw them strolling down the Michael Kors SS 11 catwalk.
I didn't have pants patterns so I made them myself with an old pair of flare pants and it was a bit difficult documenting the "step by step", specially when sewing all the pieces together, so I hope the tutorial is clear enough for the ones who want to follow it... I will post "Look of the day" pics with my new gold pants very soon so you can see the end result!

Today is the LAST DAY to vote for me for the MANGO competition and all your support is HIGHLY appreciated! ... Take a second to like this Facebook button:

Just by voting you will enter a draw to be able to win 500 euro worth of shopping, good luck and thank you for voting, your support means the world to me!

Traduccion:

it's a great idea and i have a feeling it's gonna turn out awesome, but i was just thinking why you will need to use the tracing paper when you can just use the old pair of pants as the cut-out by placing it on top of the fabric?

just a thought, may be not as easy as it seems.
