Baby, Im back!!!

Yes, I am back in Europe, missing my family like crazy but excited about new projects and even tho my plane arrived at 2pm and I was completely exhausted from a transatlantic trip, I still managed to get dressed up and go into the city for some "welcome back pics".

No, I didn't know that my dress was a bit see through until I was outside, pretty embarrassing if you ask me, I should have worn some nude underwear (recommend it if you are planning on getting the dress).

Después de un vuelo de 10 horas y de esperar casi 4 en el aeropuerto de la ciudad de Mexico, llegue a Amsterdam a las 2 de la tarde, me cambie de ropa y me sali a por la ciudad a tomar algunas fotos para el blog.

No, nunca me di cuenta de que mi vestido nuevo de H&M era casi transparente, hasta que me salí de mi casa, que pena! La próxima vez me pongo panties beige :S (recomendable si piensas comprarte el mismo vestido)

Not so wise you might think, but when it comes to fashion week, the rule always applies.

You cant imagine how cold Paris was during fashion week, you couldn't really tell by the outfits people were wearing, but believe me, when there are more than 30 street style photographers outside each show, its better to freeze and look good, than to end up on the fashion police of some magazine :P.

And no, I dont keep 2 watches with 2 different time zones, or wear them just to make sure I am on time, as a matter of fact, I am pretty punctual, with one, two or 3 watches :P, they just go well together ♥

I was caught by Style.com's Derek Blasberg before the Viktor & Rolf and this is what I had to say (find me around minute 2:07)

Como lo dije antes, preferible verte bien aunque te de frio, que ir abrigada y fachosa.

Yo se que se oye muy banal e igual y no parece un pensamiento muy sabio, pero cuando se trata de La semana de la moda en Paris, la regla siempre aplica.

Cuando supe que me iba a Paris para Fashion Week, nunca me imagine que me dirigia a un Paris congelado y la verdad es que nunca lo creerias al ver los atuendos que llevaba la gente a los desfiles y es que cuando hay mas de 30 fotografos de street style afuera de cada evento, tienes que decidir si te congelas o acabas en el fashion police de alguna revista, yo decidi congelarme :P

Today and for the first time since I came back to Mexico for holidays, it hasn't been hot.

It was the perfect day to wear a blazer and my beloved bronx shoes again for my granddad's party.

ASYMMETRY

I just realized that every time my brother takes my pictures, he always manages to make me look short (I am 1.80cm).

He is 20 years old but already 1.96 cm, so taking the pics from those heights, would make anybody look short :P, I still love his photos tho (thanks bro!).

Anyway, here is a dress I bought during Paris fashion week last march, I love the idea of the asymmetric cut mixed with the military jacket, what do you think?

Me acabo de dar cuenta que cada vez que mi hermano me toma las fotos, siempre me hace ver mas bajita de lo que soy (mido 1.80cm).

El tiene 20 años pero ya mide 1.96, así que el tomar las fotos de esas alturas harían que cualquiera se viera chaparrito :P, de todas formas me encantan sus fotos (gracias hermanito!)

Este es un vestido que compre en Paris durante el Fashion Week en Marzo. Me encanto la idea de el corte asimétrico combinado con la chamarra militar, les gusta?

DO YOU REMEMBER THE TIME?

I was brave enough to leave my house without a drop of make-up today, I felt like dressing comfy and buying snacks downtown.

This is my last week Home, Im going back to Amsterdam next wednesday so I better enjoy it as much as possible.

Next saturday I have my high school reunion, its going to be interesting and fun getting to see everybody again, we are such different people now and I cant wait to hear everyone's stories.

Esta es mi ultima semana en Mexico, me regreso a Amsterdam la siguiente semana así que mejor me pongo a disfrutar los días que me quedan aquí.

El sábado tengo mi reunión de la prepa, va a ser super interesante y divertido ver a todos otra vez después de algunos años, ya somos todos tan diferentes y me muero por escuchar la historia de sus vidas.
