The weather is improving, but don't get me wrong, its still pretty cold but at least I don't need to put gloves on anymore and I can certainly feel free to wear shorts (as long as I match them with tights!)

I love the idea of this oversized Trench so it will be very overexposed on StyleScrapbook during the spring season, I hope you guys don't mind :P

My tickets to Paris have arrived and its suddenly becoming more real.

I still can't believe I am going to Paris Fashion Week, because not only I am completely obsessed with the city but Im also insane about Fashion.

Next tuesday Im off, yet again and its crazy to think that I just came back from Paris 2 weeks ago, but this time its different, its FASHION WEEK, did I mention in Paris?

Ok, maybe I am getting too excited and overwhelmed by it all, but how can I not?

Stay tuned during the whole of next week, because there will exciting things coming! Don't miss my reports live from Paris.....did I mention I am crazy excited, nervous, grateful and unbelievably happy, not to mention completely clueless about what I am going to wear....I have the weekend to figure that out, I hope I choose wisely.

Just tell me who isnt still obsessed with BALMAIN'S military style Jackets??? If you are a die hard BALMAIN fan like myself, then this is the PERFECT DIY FOR YOU, enjoy...

YOU NEED:

The jacket I bought already had black trim on it, but it was very simple, I didn't like it so I decided to give it a BOOST :)

La chamarra que compre ya traia una tira negra, pero estaba super simple y no me gusto, asi que decidi cambiarla.

Start pinning the trim to the jacket, in the military design you want, once you've done that, start sewing it, little by little.

con los alfileres, asegura la tira negra en el diseño militar que quieras, ya que tienes la otra asegurada con alfileres empieza a coser poco a poco.

Keep pinning and stitching all the way to the bottom.

Sigue haciendo lo mismo hasta la parte de abajo.

Once you finished the front part of the jacket, start doing the sleeves in the part of the wrist, you can do 2, 3 or 4 rings, I did only 3. (its the same pinning and stitching process)

Ya que terminaste la parte de enfrente, empieza a hacer las mangas en los puños. Puedes hacer 2, 3 o 4 círculos, yo solo le hice 3. (es el mismo proceso de la parte de enfrente)

NEW BANNER PART 2

Hey everyone!!!!!

WOW! I never expected so much feedback about the new banner, almost 380 votes!!! thank you all so much for taking your time to vote and for always visiting StyleScrapbook.com.

So after spending long time counting the votes and reading very carefully to ALL OF YOUR SUGGESTIONS, I think we have a winner! Can you guess which one it was????

Close battle against #1 & #2, but at the end, the #2 was victorious!

Like a lot of you said, the number one was clean and simple, I love that picture and I love that banner, but at the end of the day, it didn't have the SCRAPBOOK look and feeling to it, I agree that less is more, but this blog is a SCRAPBOOK of my Style and I feel like the banner should reflect that.

I decided to do a little cosmetic surgery to the winning banner, listening really carefully to all of your suggestions and I think you guys are going to like it.

It is messy, has splashes of color, stains, pics and best of all, IT LOOKS LIKE A SCRAPBOOK! because lets be honest, a scrapbook wouldn't be a scrapbook without the messiness right?

Como muchos de ustedes dijeron, el #1 estaba limpio y simple, que es lo que le gusto a la mayoría, pero la verdad, aunque a mi también me fascino, siento que había perdido el look de scrapbook. Estoy de acuerdo que "less is more" pero cuando se trata de Scrapbooks, lo padre es el revoltijo de fotos, escritura y detalles, así que eso fue lo que decidí hacer, un pequeño cambio de look al banner #2, mas manchas de color y un detalle súper especial.

I've had the same banner for quite some time and thought it was time for a change.

PARIS day 4

Here are my pics from my last day in Paris (until Fashion Week that is :).

Like I told you, it was incredibly cold and the over layering was completely necessary.

Did some sight seeing and souvenir shopping, ate LOTS of pain au chocolat, drank a lot of tea, day dreamt a lot about the day when I finally move here and complained A LOT about about my stupid camera bag, yes, the ugly one with the grey strap.

I need to find a descent looking, or even better, super cool looking bag for my SLR canon camera, something I don't mind carrying while I am strolling down the Tuileries in Paris, during fashion week.

Please, if you know where to find cool SLR Camera bags, let me know, I would really, really appreciate it!
