Today is a very special day, not only to me, but to all Mexicans.
This year, we've reached the 200th anniversary of our independence and we are so proud and excited to celebrate it tonight.
Because I am so far away, I wanted to write Mexico a small letter, just to show it how much I love and care.
Dear Mexico,
I might live far away from you, but I think about you all the time, you are with me everywhere I go and I am sad that you are going through rough times, but I have faith that you will come out of them stronger, like you always do.
I will never forget your long summers and your always sunny and warm days and how can I forget your people?, so kind and friendly, always giving you a smile.
I know I left, but it wasn't because of a lack of love, I left to follow my dreams, because they were somewhere else but I still think about you and every time I reach one of my goals, I dedicate it to you.
I love you and miss you and no matter where I go or what I do, I will always be proud to be Mexican so please dont ever forget me.

Tu eres el lugar que me vio nacer, que me enseño tantas cosas, en el que se encuentran todos mis hermosos recuerdos y mi amada familia.

Mexico's countryside is simply stunning!! It's amazing and so insanly beautiful one xoul never understand why you would leave a place like that.. But unfortunatly you have such a beuatiful country but so much poverty and crime and drug problmes in the big cities it's so sad :(
