I believe that the beauty of "style blogs" is the fact that us bloggers, wake up one morning and decide what to wear depending on our mood, cravings, likings and last but not least, our "inspirational folders" because lets be honest, we all keep one of those in our computers full of images of fellow bloggers, Miroslava Duma, Alexa Chung and so on for those moments of : And what the hell am I going to wear today?
I would lie if I say we don't follow trends, we are not fools, of course we do, but that is not what I take into consideration when it comes to choosing an outfit, not at all, so when a "certain person" told me; OMG Andy, why are you wearing Salmon, that color is so 2009, I said, because this is one of my favorite blazers, PERIOD! :D

I think you are absolutely right! Trends are created to help us, to give us inspirations, but not to force us to wear or not to wear something just because it's not infashion anymore! the most important thing in wearing the clothes it's to feel comfortable while wearing them. It's difficult not to follow trends deliberately these days, we're being almost attacked by them once we enter shops like Zara or H&M since they all simply copy catwalk-looks..

That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. To be told a certain color or trend isn't popular anymore. I consider my clothes my babies, I would never stop wearing my favorite items just because people think they are not "in" anymore. Yes, I pay attention to trends and whats "hott" at the moment...but I ALWAYS have my own twist on all of my outfits...and I don't pay attention to fashion rules..or dos and don'ts...shit, I'll even wear black with brown, and white after labor day..I don't care! :) Fashion is an expression of one's true self...so why shouldn't it be unique and fun?
