I cant believe there are 7 hours to go (in Europe) for the new decade to start.

What a year it has been for me, full of exciting and new things, big opportunities, amazing people, goals achieved and dreams came true.

I cant wait to see what the new year has in store for me, all I can do is hope that it is as good or even better than this amazing year, one which I will never forget.

Thank you so much for still being here throughout this year, thanks for all the support, the good wishes, the positivity and the love.

And after a LOT OF EATING, resting, sleeping and present opening, I am back! :P

I cant believe Christmas is over and I will have to wait another year, although NYE is yet to come, I have no plans so far but the perfect thing to wear so we' ll see how that turns out.

As you can see, I was BUSY during Christmas eve, baking cookies, making my first christmas eve dinner (with the help of my amazing boyfriend who's making a small cameo in todays post), so by 12 o'clock I was already exhausted! Nevertheless, the day was amazing, missed my family a lot but I was able to skype them for a while and hopefully will be seeing them quite soon.

I' ll do a quick posting about presents tomorrow, what did you get??? Any plans for NYE?

My dearly beloved readers,

I wanted to take a quick chance to wish you all a very special and happy Christmas.

enjoy the company of all the people you love, eat a lot, laugh a lot and hug the people you love a lot.

This is my second Christmas away from home and let me tell you that its the most difficult time of the year to be away from my family, but I know they will be thinking about me and I will too.

In Mexico, we also celebrate Christmas on the night of the 24 (noche buena or Christmas eve) so tonight, me and my boyfriend are cooking for the both of us, making gingerbread cookies and a small turkey, asked my mom for few recipes and will spend the whole day cooking for our Christmas eve dinner.

On the 25th. we will go to his parents house and celebrate it with them.

I hope you are all well and enjoying the company and love of your families, which its the spirit of this holidays (its not about the presents you know :P ) although its always nice to be visited by Santa once a year right?? haha.

I still get excited when I see the 1st snow of the year which quite honestly I wasn't expecting.
I dont think anyone here thought we would have that much snow last weekend but Im excited and hopeful that we will have a white Christmas this year.

The roads are covered in snow, the public transport is a mess and I don't think anybody was prepared for this so if you live in Holland please drive carefully :)

Its freezing outside but who cares! I get to build a snowman!!! :P
