Can you guess who I was this Halloween????

LITTLE STATEMENT:
THIS IS FOR THE NEGATIVE ANONYMOUS COMMENT I JUST RECEIVED REGARDING THIS POSTING: FIRST OF ALL, I WENT TO A THRILLER MICHAEL JACKSON THEMED PARTY, SECOND OF ALL, I AM A HUGE MICHAEL JACKSON FAN AND HAVE BEEN FOR MANY MANY YEARS SO DRESSING UP AS HIM FOR HALLOWEEN WAS AN HONOR FOR ME AND IN NO WAY MEANT TO MAKE FUN OF HIM OR HIS DEATH, HOW DARE YOU TO EVEN SAY THAT.
IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE COMMENTS LIKE THAT DONT HIDE BEHIND ANONYMITY.

And now for all MJ fans like myself, are you ready for some serious moonwalking?

And last but not least, I wanted to share with you guys one of my favorite pics of Michael, enjoy :)

XOXO

Going through my pics of 4 months ago (while celebrating my Bday weekend in Paris)I realized I never posted the pics from the last day and due to the lack of pics for todays posting I decided to share them with you...

I hate the last day in Paris, when I know that Im leaving and even though I know i will probably be back soon, its such a horrible experience!
This was my fourth time in Paris, not the last one that is for sure because between 2008 and 2009 I went 3 times!
Im planning another trip there, maybe for the Spring (since one of my best friends is coming to Europe for a year).

And changing the subject...I love how I've been looking forward to going out in Halloween weekend and just yesterday I came down with the flu, couldn't sleep thanks to a blocked nose and Im super drowsy and tired...Oh well, I'll just have to medicate myself because Im not missing the 90' s Thriller themed Halloween party for anything in the world!
Still don't know what to wear, I am between an outfit with sequin leggings, a black mini dress with shoulder pads or a sequin blazer & fedora "a la Billie Jean" What do you think?

The sequin leggings, the black mini dress, or the Motown 25 Billie Jean look?

It's all about Michael J baby!!!!

I wasn't able to get my hands on the snake print pants from ZARA few months ago, I just never found them BUT, as you know, I dont give up so easily and found this amazing pair of snake print leggings at Veromoda last weekend.....I love them!

My plans for Halloween are going out for drinks first and then a 90's thriller party in Amsterdam (must channel my inner Michael J.).
Unfortunately for what I've heard, people don't really dress up in Holland, at least not as much as we do in Mexico, the US and Canada so I don't think I'll be sporting any costume :(

P.S- Shout out to one of my best friends (Paloma) cause shorty, its your birthday, we' re gonna part like its your birthday!!!!!!! Have the best time and don't forget I love you!

XOXO
Andy

I know Im supposed to stay positive and look at the bright side of things, but honestly, what is to like about days like this?

I remember when I used to live in Mexico, I cherished rainy days because in days like this, I could stay home, watch a movie while sitting on the couch with a blanket, being lazy all day.
Now, this is how most days are!

On a positive note, I have been feeling extremely happy lately, no reason whatsoever! Ok, there might be a reason :P
Life seems much easier for me as an expat in Holland , it took a while but Im starting to feel much happier. Its always hard to live so far away from all the people you love and the place where you grew up (in my case Mexico) but doesn't matter where I am now or were I will be in the future, I always bring them with me in my heart.

Anyway, I did my best to snap some outfit pics of my new leather skirt.
I have been wanting one for ages but I wasn't able to find one that suit me the best though I think this one has a cool shape so I bought it.

How has your weekend been??? and most importantly, have you found a Halloween costume yet??? Have any plans for Halloween weekend? please SHARE!!! I would love to hear about it!

This is the perfect example of why fall is my favorite season when it comes to the colors of nature.
The pics were shot at the Amsterdam forest, one of the most beautiful places I' ve seen in the city.

I was wearing my high waisted patched skinny jeans from H&M Trend, American apparel deep V neck and ZARA cropped leather jacket.

Can you guys believe we are a week away from November?????

I also wanted to take this chance to let you guys know that the new issue of the online mag, Glossy Magazine is out now.

I love the magazine, plus this month they have interviews with The Sartorialist, Jane Aldridge (Sea of Shoes) & the AMAZING Danny Roberts, which is my favorite fashion illustrator, please go check out his blog here and DONT MISS GLOSSY' S NEW ISSUE!

Nothing shouts "FALL" more than a pic surrounded by orange and yellow leaves, definitely my favorite season, at least when it comes to the colors of nature.

Here is a DIY of decorative shoulders I made last friday.
Unfortunately, the pics of "the how to" were sabotaged by my SD card, which completely failed as I inserted in my Mac yesterday.
For some reason, it was asking me to format it and wouldn't show any pics in it so there you have it.
Lucky for me I had a spare one to take the outfit pics after that.

Skirt: H&M
Shirt: deep V neck by American apparel
