A LITTLE INSPIRATION FOR SPRING, FROM MATTHEW WILLIAMSON

This is a perfect example of how you can combine a lot of the trends coming for Spring and Summer.

The bright pops of color, the shiny sequins, the leather mini´s & jackets and High waisted pants and skirts.

Everythings is completely femenine, but yet, it has the rock & roll look that we have been falling in love with (since BALMAIN) and quite honestly, I dont think that trend is going to fade anytime soon.

This is just to show, how many options we have for the sunny and warm seasons to come, there is so much we can do with recycled pieces from winter, just loose the tights, lift the skirts, show some leg & let your hair down!!

At the end of the day, I give Matthew an A+ for his SS09 collection, what do you give him?

Esta colección es el ejemplo perfecto de como podemos combinar muchas de las tendencias que vienen para la temporada de primavera y verano.

Los colores brillantes, los destellos de las lentejuelas, las minifaldas y chamarras de piel y las faldas a la cintura.

Todo se ve súper femenino, pero al mismo tiempo, tiene ese toque de Rock & Roll de el que nos enamoramos (deade BALMAIN) y francamente, dudo mucho que esta tendencia desaparesca pronto.

Esta es la prueba de cuantas opciones tenemos para la temporada que viene ¡y cuantas piezas que usamos en el invierno podemos reciclar!

So here is today´s outfit.

Do you remember what I said about pink blazers? Well, I finally got my hands on one!!!!

I absolutely LOVE IT!

You are probably wondering what the pink tape on my knee is. The reason I´m wearing it, is because I had an injury and I am going to physiotherapy to fix it. (So its not me trying to accesorize my knee at all :P) lol.

Esto es lo que me puse hoy.

¿Te acuerdas de lo que dije acerca de los sacos rosas tipo Alexander Wang? ¡¡¡Pues encontré uno!!! y la verdad me fascina.

Por cierto, la cinta rosa en mi rodilla no es ningun accesorio extraño que me puse para combinar con el saco, lo que pasa es que tengo una lesión y tengo que usar esa cinta :(, ¡gracias a dios que todavía no es verano!

DIY: GOSSIP GIRL INSPIRED BOW HEADBAND

So here is an easy one, A Blair Waldorf inspired headband.
Made a bow from a leftover faux leather fabric and attached it to an old thin headband from H&M.
Try it at home!

Y ahora un DIY facilisimo, una diadema inspirada en Blair Waldorf de Gossip Girl.
Hice el moño con una tela tipo piel que me había sobrado de projectos pasados, i lo pegué en una diadema delgada de H&M.

That seems fine by me, since I recently bought a fringed vest, acid wash jeans and Im adding studs to everything in sight! haha

Parece que los flecos, los estoperoles, los cierres y los denims estilo 80´s vienen otravez para el invieno 2009, o mas bien;¡No se van a ningún lado!

A mi me parece perfecto, por que no hace mucho, compré un chaleco de piel con flecos, mis denims ochenteros y le estoy poniendo estoperoles a todo lo que se me pone enfrente! haha

Happy Valentines day everyone!!!

What did you do??? I spent my day shopping for new make- up at SEPHORA, then went into town to watch Marley and me, with Jen Aniston and Owen Wilson.

Have you seen it and did you like it??? I think it was pretty sweet.

Back to fashion. I dont know if it also happens to you, but I get this weird thing at the beginning of every season, I get hooked with a color and everytime I go into a store, I start checking items in that color, even if I didnt use to like it before. It is like it takes over me and my taste...

Well, right now, Im hooked to electric blue.....Oh yeah and since I had this t-shirt/dress, I thought, the best way to combine it, would be with some black leather , a studded belt & ankle boots, do you like it???

Oh, and how was your Valentine´s day, I would love to know???

¿¿Que hiciste?? Yo fuí a SEPHORA a comprar maquillaje y en la noche fui a ver la peli de Marley and me, con Jennifer Aniston y Owen Wilson.

¿Ya la viste?¿Te gustó?

De regreso al tema de la moda, no se si también te ha pasado a ti, pero a mi me pasa algo raro cada cambio de temporada y me engancho con un color.

Cada que voy a una tienda, empiezo a buscar cosas de ese color, nunca es el mismo y cambia depende de la temporada y mi humor, igual y antes ni me gustaba, pero de repente me engancho, así nada más.

Bueno, pues ahorita, mi color de preferencia es el azul electrico, no me preguntes por que, ¡Pero me esta fascinando! Y como tenia esta camiseta/vestido, se me ocurrio que la mejor manera de combinarlos, era con una chamarra de piel negra, cinturon con estoperoles y unas botas al tobillo.

¿Como te fue en el día de Sán Valentín? Cuentame,¡Me encantaría saber!

A LITTLE MORE FLARE

I am into denims, I´ve always loved them but for the past 3 years, I´ve been loyal to the skinny jeans. Today, however, I felt like adding a little more flare to my outfit, so I picked up my wide legged jeans and wore them for the second time since I bought them :S (which was last spring)

To be honest, I am not planning on wearing them a whole lot, but feeling like a hippie once in a while, cant harm anyone, right??? lol

La verdad es que me fascinan los jeans, siempre he sido mega fan, pero en los ultimos 3 años, le he sido muy fiel a mis pantalones de pitillo.

Hoy, sentí que debería de intentar algo nuevo.

Tengo unos pantalones acampanados que compré la primavera pasada y los pobres estaban refundidos en mi closet asi que decidí darles una oportunidad,¿¿¿es mejor variarle un poco no???

La verdad no pienso utilizarlos demasiado (no se vayan a encelar mi otros jeans! haha).Pero de vez en cuando, sentirme ina hippie, no me lo quita nadie :)..

You have no idea how bad I want to get my hands on a bright pink blazer/jacket.

Ever since Alexander Wang' s SS09 collection, I've been trying to find one, but I havent been succesful.
It is an AMAZING item to make a fashion statement for spring and it can be mixed and matched, which makes it more fun...

No tienen idea de las ganas que tengo de un saco rosa!

Desde que lo vi en la coleccion de Alexander Wang para primavera 09 , he buscado uno, peor no he tenido suerte.

Siento que es un BASICO para primavera y nos divertiremos tratando de encontrar nuevas formas de combinarlo!!!
