After a long wait, the BALMAIN Spring Summer 2010 its finally here.
Seems like the military trend is still going strong.
I have to confess that even though I am a die hard BALMAIN OBSESSIVE, I am not entirely shocked/excited about this collection, not like I was with last spring´s and it might be just a bit more of the same.
With that said, here are MY PICKS for this collection and the shoulder work definitely caught my eye and made me think of few DIY´s coming soon!

I would have to agree with you on this one. Not enough innovation going on here for me to be in love with it. Would I wear it though? Absolutely. I'm no fool.
I'm with you on this one. I feel like Balmain always comes out with something that supercedes trend, and yet this collection just seems to fit in with the whole rocker/hipster/80s shapes thing.
Maybe the fact that it fits into so many categories makes it so different...
yes, I totally agree... Collection is good but you can't eat the same every day (every season)... a bit boring...
hated the pants with pockets on its side.. here in brazil we call it "cargo" pants

talk about cohincidence, i too am a Balmain addict but despite all the anticipation and such, i was not charmed by this collection, a bit let down, i have to say, through clenched teeth. I hate to bite the hand that feeds me, but sincerity first: the last two collections were so great that some fall was inevitable, perhaps. 3 seasons ago was kind of the same thing. Maybe Balmain does a/w better xD ?

i love the metallics, and mixed textures... the shape formula is somewhat the same... love the millitary embelishement, mixed with the metalics, and the leather not as exciting as past seasons, but I still love it! :)
