A TOUCH OF PINK

I havent been posting lately because my internet is sooo messed up, I have no idea what is the problem, but I just cant seem to get it to work and when it actually does its for a period of 5 minutes and for no reason, it wont upload pics at all!!!!

So, I think I will be able right now, so this is what I wore yesterday, black and white with a touch of pink....I dont know how weather is doing in your parts of the world, here we even got snow last weekend!!! its crazy cold!!! so whatever it is that I am wearing, I am always cold...I hope I survive this winter :P

PS- I am ready to put my Xmas decorations up next weekend! I cant wait and will defenetely be posting about it. When are you getting all Christmassy???

I STILL CAN´T BELIEVE IT!!!

Friday night and my bf tells me; be ready to leave tomorrow at 6 am. I wasn’t allowed to ask any questions of where we were going, so I didn’t.

I woke up at 5 am yesterday and was ready to leave by 6 just like I got told. I was soooo curious to know what was going on, but since I like surprises, I didn’t ask.

We got on the car and drove off but since I was soo tired (didn’t sleep too much the night before) I fell asleep on our way. Little did I know, my boyfriend was having a master plan, one that I never would have guessed! He drove me to Paris for the day!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Good for the ones who guessed!!! lol), took me to the Champ de Mars and right in front of the Eiffel tower, gave me the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen in my life.

Not in a million years I would have guessed that! Since we went there just four months ago. Sometimes I find myself wondering, where on earth I found a guy like him and if I even deserve him, He is the most amazing person I’ve ever met in my whole life and I am just happy that life crossed our paths...

So if you ask me how it was, I really have NO WORDS!!!!!!! and since a picture is worth a thousand words, I figured I might as well just post some of them, just to give you an idea of how amazing my Saturday was ;)

PS- I’m sorry for the obsessive picture taking by the Eiffel tower, its just that yes, I am indeed obsessed with it, I’ve always been and I will always be :P , Oh! and sorry for taking so long to upload the pics, I swear my internet was completely messed! it still is, but I managed to upload this ones... :)

STRIPES PART 2

So this is how I wore my skirt. It is surprisingly warm (and I need that!), weather is just getting worse, I should really just come to terms with the fact that this is the way it goes, but at the end of the day, I suspect, I will never get used to the cold.

I´ve had this red jacket for like 2 years. I found it in my closet today and I felt like It could work with the stripes.

HOW I WORE IT

Ok so, there are a million different ways to wear my vintage velvet blazer, tho I felt like this today, I will eventually explore many other ways to make it work, one step at a time :)

And finally wearing my faux fur scarf. I have to confess, it makes my nose itchy sometimes, I´ll survive, it´s all for the sake of fashion, isnt it?!

STRIPES, NOT STARS...

I fell in love with this skirt, the minute I saw it. It´s nothing special, nothing too flashy I guess, but it´s the simplicity of it that I loved and the shape, and the colors, and.....everything lol

Oh well, how complicated can it be to make it....maybe not at all, maybe the most complicated part was to find the fabric!!!!!!!!! I couldnt find it exactly as it was, but close enough.

The stripes are slightly thinner and instead of black and white, it´s black and grey (which is fine by me, I am a bit of a grey addict). I said to my boyfriend; Please Rich, do not let me buy grey fabrics anymore!! Everytime I get to the fabric store, I am always drawn to the greyish tones, I dont know why!!! But it has to stop! since I have so much grey in my closet already.

This is the last time (OH NO!) It isnt! I totally forgot I was working in another project, it is grey velvet skirt (inspired by the great Alexa Chung) might be done this week, but after that I am finished with grey fabrics (for now anyway :P )

VINTAGE CANDY

Dont you love, walking into a vintage store and finding an amazing item that nobody else has discovered (thank God, because now you can get your hands on it forever! or at least untill you decide to pass it on ;)

Well, that´s exactly what happened to me the other day. There it was (literally) at the back of the store, where nobody else could see it, thankfully I am the kind of shopper that REALLY LOOKS AROUND so I found it!

Its navy blue, its velvet, it has gold buttons, its PERFECT!

L.O.V.E PART 2

I wore my shirt today and yeah, I love it!!! plus the fabric I found is so soft and comfy :)
I decided to give my Steve Madden disco ball shoes another go since the weather wasn´t that cold and I could get away with not wearing any socks.
But probably one of my favourite items of today´s outfit, is my feather head band.
I went and buy more fabric today (its becoming an addiction!). I found this really cool place near The Dam square in Amsterdam. They sell EVERYTHING!!! including a bunch of metal studs in all shapes and sizes (still trying to figure out the best way to use them).
So as I said, I found more fabrics and I am going to take on few projects this week (soo exciting!) I will defenetely be showing you, so stay tuned!!!

This is what I made today. I must confess that sewing the sequins to the O and the V took FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooo excited about the result tho! I love my new shirt made from scratch....Took the pattern from my lovely AA tri-blend tanktop, copied it to pattern paper and made a new shirt...

BURBERRY LOVIN´

I am completely sure, that more than one of you would agree with me when I say that Christopher Bailey is a true genious and has us craving his beautiful creations constantly.

I just cant stop contenplating his f/08 collection and wishing I was skilled enough to take on one of his delicious coats, or maybe weathly enough to buy them all. Unfortunately I am not, boo for me.

I must confess, I am not a Paris Hilton´s fan, at all, I don´t hold anything against her tho, Im just not a fan.

Having said that, I did like this 2 looks from her editorial for this month´s NYLON magazine and found them very inspirational.

Still trying to figure out many ways of wearing my shiny leggings, I must say tho, they are NOT warm at all so going out with them is a bit cruel for my legs since they freeze!
I still love them tho!

RUSH OF INSPIRATION...

This images from Alice McCall collections are such an inspiration! I want to take on each and every outfit, I would have to find the right fabrics obviously and do it eventually, its just that when I see something I crave as much as this, makes me wish I could work as fast as possible and make everything in a week....The problem is getting around to do it and still have few projects on hold supposedly for this week.

THE BOW

I bought this shirt last spring and even tho it seemed fine then, I found it few days ago and thought it looked a little boring.

I decided to give it a little makeover and a velvet bow seemed like a good idea...

ITS BACK!!!

Im not sure if it was a miracle or just me being extremely possitive and wishful that I would have my computer fixed by today.

I woke up to a dead computer on sunday, I still have no idea what happened, but I was soooo worried that I might have lost ALL MY PICTURES!! I had 16 GB in pics (I am a bit of a taking photos freak), plus all my songs...Oh god, It could have been a disaster!!!

Thankfully we took it to a shop yesterday morning, the kid who helped us was so nice and trying so hard to sort things out, he was searching of ways to recover the pics over the Internet but all the things he found was people saying it was impossible, he didnt gave up tho!! and after few hours, all my documents were back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a happy happy girl now....backing everything up so this never happens again, but the most important thing of all is that I have my baby back!!!!


Oh! What would I do without you my dear!!!!
